International Activities

The Master and Doctorate courses concentrate faculty with extensive experience in research orientation, besides growing participation in foreign institutions.

PósARQ’s policy has been focusing on increasing the participation of the faculty in international organizations, conferences and scientific events, raising the program’s visibility in national and international scenario.

It is worth highlighting the participation of PósARQ professors in scientific societies, editorial boards, and organizing committees:

  • Carlos Loch (Revista Brasileira de Cartografia, member of Comissão de Cadastro e Gestão Territorial da Sociedade Brasileira de Cartografia, diretor executivo da Rede de Tecnologia Aeroespacial e Cartográfica, representante estrangeiro – Deutsche Geodätische Kommission);

PósARQ has also directly promoted international scientific events, like the recent CTHab’2012 – IV Brazilian Congress and III Ibero-american of Social Housing (November 12th-15th, 2012), or indirectly, like the 15° IB²MaC – The 15th International Brick and Block Masonry Conference (June, 03rd-06th, 2012), both in Florianópolis, Brazil.
